Completed his MBBS from GMCH – 32 in 2012 and went ahead to join the prestigious PGIMER for his general surgery training. After completing his M.S, he joined the reputable JIPMER, Pondicherry for his training in Plastic surgery. He is well versed in reconstructive, cosmetic and hand surgery. He was an integral part of the team which conducted the first Hand Transplant in the public sector in India and has been a part of 3 transplants since.
He has been a part of Smile Train project in India and has been a part of numerous workshops since.
He was trained for Rhinoplasty under Prof Ö Taskin Yucel in Ankara, Turkey and has been a part of numerous primary and secondary cases with Prof. Yucel.
Furthermore, it was in Montreux that he got to share notes with plastic surgeons from all over the world and learnt about the aesthetic surgery scene across the world.
He did a fellowship in aesthetic surgery in Tricity Institute of Plastic Surgery in Chandigarh under Dr. Makkar, Dr. Aneja and Dr. Sood.
He was worked extensively in the field of diabetic foot reconstruction and complex oncological reconstructions during his tenure in Max Hospital, Mohali.
His repertoire of specialized cosmetic procedures includes: facelift (Soft-Lift and conventional), facial rejuvenation (centrofacial/periorbital/perioral), rhinoplasty (Nose job), blepharoplasty (Eye lid surgery), ear reconstruction, otoplasty, lipo- filling/Fat Grafting (Face and Breast), liposuction, tummy tuck, breast surgeries (augmentation/reduction/mastopexy), Post bariatric body reshaping surgeries like upper/lower body lift, belt abdominoplasty, “Mommy makeover” surgeries, genital rejuvenation, gender reassignment surgeries, facial feminization/masculinization surgeries and many more as well as microvascular reconstructive surgery of complex onco-surgical and traumatic defects.
